Dead Ellington needs your help to release their new limited edition "Refuse" 7'' inch. Only 300 of these will be made. This new 7" inch comes with custom packaging stemming from a collaboration with Hipstamatic, the popular digital photo APP. So we need your help Hipstamatic users! If you have any 7'' inch prints that you would like us to include with our record please send them to the address below.

Send as many as you like, and be sure to include any credits you would like us to add to your photo. We will include one print with every 7'' inch ordered. Be sure to send them in quick though, there will only be 300 pressings of this record!
Hailing from Boston, the dirty water city, Dead Ellington formed in 2004 and is known for their punk rock roots, poetic lyrics and explosive drums. Their touring history includes sharing the stage with Big D and The Kids Table, The Lawrence Arms, Suicidal Tendencies, The Street Dogs and more. They continue to play locally and nationally building a groundswell of followers who believe in their “Refuse, Rethink, Rebuild” mantra.
Refuse, Rethink, Rebuild is a new way of thinking. It is about looking at the reality of ones surroundings and creating something new. It’s all about refusing the present, rethinking the future, and rebuilding the past. “It’s a way of life not just music, it’s our manifesto, embracing the D.I.Y scene from street art to punk rock.”
In 2011 Dead Ellington released their first full length, Refuse, Rethink, Rebuild. Building off the momentum of this record, the band is set to follow up their first full length with their "Refuse" 7'' inch featuring 5 brand new songs.
Currently, the band is recording with Pete Steinkopf of the Bouncing Souls. Now, lets be honest. Releasing a record is expensive, and a custom package doesn’t come cheap either. BUT, the band believes in this project and wants to see it through its completion. That’s why they’re asking for your support. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. The money will also go to helping Dead Ellington cover vinyl pressing cost. While our goal won't cover everything, it will definitely help the band tremendously. The band hopes to continue spreading the Refuse, Rethink, Rebuild message and sincerely thanks you in advance for the support.
