WHY?
I love sex toys and everything that goes with them, and think that everyone should be issued one on their 18th birthday. Exploring our bodies solo allows us to become more confident with our partners and experience sexual happiness and discover exactly what "flips our switch". Likewise with bringing toys into play when with your partner/s, toys enhance the love and intimacy you already share....so what's not to like?

Glass sex toys, ceramic sex toys, metal sex toys...they're quite popular these days. However, many people that plunk down money for the not-insubstantial cost of these toys don't get around to experiencing one of the most delightful aspects - temperature play! With no way to go from room temp to erotic warmth or shivery chill in any kind of hurry (unless you feel like toting a big, sloshy bowl of water through your house and risk potential mid-coitus flooding of the unfun variety) most toys are used as-is, at "regular" temperature...and that's a shame!
HOW & WHAT?
When I put my in-the-gutter mind in a conference with a slightly-left-of-but-still-in-the-gutter mind of a twitter sewing-savvy buddy, we had a big, naked idea...which would soon turn into Chilldils! A special sex toy sleeve designed to be either tossed in a ziploc and into the freezer or zapped for 30 seconds on each side in the microwave, the design incorporates an inner pocket that cleverly insulates to keep things perfectly hot or cold - and will hold temperature for far longer than an open bowl of water. A removable waterproof sleeve even allows the user to "refresh" the hot or cold in the middle of using their toy!

Made right here in the US by a mom of three, Chilldils use a blend of natural and man-made materials for a superior and unique product! The design is meant to mimic a common eye or neck pillow, resembling nothing more than a stylish therapeutic device. Left out on the couch or even in bed, it won't raise any eyebrows, and guessing its true purpose at a glance would be highly improbable. However, it ALSO functions excellently chilled as an eye or forehead soother, or warmed on the neck, back, or other sore muscles to help you relax. The 100% natural filler delivers a gently moist heat when microwaved for an even more luxurious feel.
WHEN?
We really, really, really want these beauties ready to go before the Xmas season - say, Dec 15th. I know enough of the industry to know there will be lots of people shelling out for fancy natural material toys for themselves or their partners...and having a chilldil along with their shiny new toy will let them experience all the awesomeness it has to offer!
WHERE (you come in):
We have the finished and approved prototype, the design, the maker, the marketer...hell, even the site, email, blog, and twitter! What we lack is capital for materials and getting the Chilldil outta prototype and into stores. Your donation would help pay for the pounds of filler, packaging, cloth, thread, a teensy bit of marketing seed money for ads in the right places that we need to get the wheels on this stock car of an idea.
