The Jargon Society, with your assistance, is publishing Points of Departure: Roadside Memorial Polaroids by Phillip March Jones (JARGON 114). The book is a photographic survey of roadside memorials taken across the United States just before the demise of Polaroid film in 2008. The hardcover book features 172 color images with a foreword by poet and scholar Thomas Meyer. The book is currently in the design phase and will be available in January 2012.

Special thanks to: Thomas Meyer, Steve Pitkin, Carly Schnur, Ben Sollee and Michael Fleck.
*Note: International buyers please add 10 USD for shipping
*Note: Meyer denies being a scholar
*Note: The book will not be printed in time for Christmas 2011, BUT we will send out a printed card to everyone who purchases a book and printed cards are great stand-ins for books that arrive in January.
