Hi everyone, my name is Craig Owen and I'm the owner of ZICA Toys.  I apologize for not having a video to go with this project but I tried to make one about a million times and just couldn't do it to my liking.

Anyway, enough about my issues and on to what's important.  The Humanoid 8.0 Action Figure project is my next attempt to take the 1/9 scale (8 inch) format and help it evolve into what's being done in the 1/6 scale format (12 inch), specifically in terms of detailing and customization options.  My first attempt at this was back in 2011 when my company released a line of Buck Rogers action figures with characters from the 70's era TV series.  These were much more detailed than what's currently being done with 1/9 scale action figures, which are typically designed in the retro MEGO style.  Here are the promo images that were used for that line.

Humanoid 8.0 Yvonne Action Figure

The Humanoid 8.0 Yvonne figure shares a lot of the same design features that are typically found on the higher end 1/6 scale action figures.  For example, it has swappable hands and chest pieces that offer extra customization options, plus it also has advanced articulation. 

What you're seeing in the image below is an actual production sample which means the figure is ready for full production.  All of the tooling is finished and paid for so it's only a matter of me having the funds available to place my first order with the factory.
