I've recorded a CD of solo piano music by American composer Henry Cowell. The CD is edited and ready to go, but to get this CD out on a label, I need $4000. I will supply half of those funds but need help to get the other half! The CD is a lot of fun, full of piano pieces of all shapes and sizes (many of which have never been recorded!). There's "Fairy Bells" played almost exclusively while plucking the strings of the piano, "Rhythmicana" exploring Cowell's rhythmic ideas from his book "New Musical Resources", plenty of works with Cowell's trademark clusters, played with fists, palms or forearms, and much more!
