About this project
Here in Fresno, we have own our sound, our own musical landscape of bands and locales that reaches across genres and taps into the roots of rock and rap, indie, metal, jazz and more.
Know that this is about more than just music. It's about a vision of Fresno's urban core, and supporting those who support that vision. It's about the people and places that already exist setting a foundation for those who follow. So, forget what you’ve heard or think you know about downtown (or Fresno’s music scene for that matter). Experience it yourself.
This is the new downtown and it’s alive and fun. And yes, that’s very much OK.

Founded in January 2004, by a small group of young professionals as a means to forward the Creative Cities Movement in Fresno, the group is a 501(c)(3) that engages the community in multiple arenas: arts, civic and business.
