Upcoming Minibloq.v0.81 features summary

Hi! The next version of Minibloq is near, and here are some of its features:

1. Minibloq will support strings (and emoticons!) over the board's serial ports:

2. We added HID communications capabilities. By now, the only board that uses it is the DuinoBot.v1.2.HID, but this will surely enable other non standard CDC devices to be programmed with Minibloq in the near future:

3. Minibloq now support comment between blocks. It also adds the comments in real time to the code:

As you can see in that last post, there are more sensor blocks too, some of them specially useful for robotics.

4. Full support for Internationalization/Localization: I will make another update soon about this important feature.

Plus we corrected some bugs and improved other small details.

I have to say a word about the sources: The following version (v0.82) will be the first released with sources. But right now, I'm sending them to every backer that ask for them. So if you were a backer, and want the sources, please send me an email.

This not-yet-released piece of hardware has an AVR core (32KB Flash), two DC (small) motor control outputs (with MOSFET H-Bridges), USB 2.0, laser cutted case, a step-up power supply, buzzer, 8x8 LED matrix display and five 3-pin sensor connectors.
