Update #31: Minibloq.v0.81.Beta released!

Posted on May 1

Hi!

Today was released the Minibloq.v0.81.Beta, which is the first version that supports full internationalization.  Soon I will be posting about the roadmap of the project, as well as updating the documentation with the new features.

Here is the post about the release:

Update #30: Upcoming Minibloq.v0.81 features summary

Posted on February 21

Hi! The next version of Minibloq is near, and here are some of its features:

1. Minibloq will support strings (and emoticons!) over the board's serial ports:

http://blog.minibloq.org/2012/02/minibloqv081beta-sending-text-with-new.html

2. We added HID communications capabilities. By now, the only board that uses it is the DuinoBot.v1.2.HID, but this will surely enable other non standard CDC devices to be programmed with Minibloq in the near future:

http://blog.minibloq.org/2012/02/usb-hid-integration.html

3. Minibloq now support comment between blocks. It also adds the comments in real time to the code:

As you can see in that last post, there are more sensor blocks too, some of them specially useful for robotics.

4. Full support for Internationalization/Localization: I will make another update soon about this important feature.

Plus we corrected some bugs and improved other small details.

I have to say a word about the sources: The following version (v0.82) will be the first released with sources. But right now, I'm sending them to every backer that ask for them. So if you were a backer, and want the sources, please send me an email.

Cheers!

Julián

Hi!

We have new third-party material, this time in Spanish, using Minibloq. Here are the posts in Minibloq's web site:

RobotGroup's robotic's guide: http://blog.minibloq.org/2012/01/guia-en-espanol-de-robotica-spanish.html

As always, you can join the Forum to ask questions or to read about other users's experiences and activities.

By other side, I'm working hard on the next version: v0.81.Beta. More on this soon...

Thanks!
