Update #8: Plot Hook: The Valley of the Necromancer Kings
Philippe-Antoine Menard (The Chatty DM) has written a few plot hooks to go with the winning entries of the 2009 One Page Dungeon Contest. Here is one to use with "The Valley of the Necromancer Kings."
Tomb Raiders: While resting in an oasis tent village, the party bumps into some very aggressive cultists who are seeking supplies for their endeavours-- and want to take those of the adventurers. After the heroes deal with them, the group finds a map back to the Valley among the cultists' possessions. Questioning the vendors at the oasis reveals that the cultists are suspected to be at work unearthing some kind of lost tomb in the desert. Rumours of treasure and certain doom explode through the oasis and the PCs are urged to investigate!

Update #5: Plot Hook: Cry of the Gravegod
Philippe-Antoine Menard (The Chatty DM) has written a few plot hooks to go with the winning entries of the 2009 One Page Dungeon Contest. Here is one to use with "Cry of the Gravegod."
"The Tome of the Crying God: Early in their adventuring career, the PCs find a highly damaged, magical tome of woodcuts (images) which provides a minor but very beneficial effect on the bearer. Whenever the book is disposed of, it reappears later in the campaign, less damaged and providing a stronger beneficial effect. (This could also happen any time the book is put away and not referred to for a period of time, if it does not leave the PCs' possession.) The book shows Vekkoru's life as the legendary warrior he was. The further the campaign progresses, the more details the book tells of the story, including his death and beyond. When the party reaches an appropriate level for tackling the tomb, a map appears in the tome. Any attempt to read the book's few markings will reveal one word: Vekkoru.

Update #3: Dungeon Hooks to Kickstart your players' adventure!
Philippe-Antoine Menard (the Chatty DM) has written a couple plot hooks for each of the top three winners in the One Page Dungeon Contest. Here is the first plot hook, to be used with "The Secret of the Old City."
The Parental Posse: The PCs are hired by a group of distraught parents who have lost their faith in the ability of the City Guard to find their missing children. The parents are convinced the children were abducted by the "Ogre of the Old City" (Area #18). They have scrounged up a sizable amount of money to convince the PCs to descend into the Old City by the most well-known entry (area #1), take out the Guards in area #2 (by subduing them - or not), and then search for the missing children.
Update #2: Welcome!
