We'd love to make some safety and equipment upgrades to our taco truck! She needs a lot of TLC in order to keep the tacos coming!
Lucky Taco opened on Bushnell Park during the summer of 2011 and has been a staple of the Hartford food scene ever since. We built the truck ourselves on a shoestring budget with lots of love. Flaco, as we affectionately call her, has been a great vessel for bringing Dave's food creations all around the state.
We are asking for your help to give Flaco a much needed TLC session. This will include an upgrade of our safety equipment, improved kitchen equipment and some much needed beautification. We really feel that with these upgrades done, Flaco will be ready and able to travel throughout the state and expand our business greatly!
Additionally, we would FINALLY get our website up and running and do the first edition run of Lucky Taco T-shirts!
We sincerely appreciate your pledge of any amount and promise this: If our goal is met, we will pay your generosity forward. We will, in turn, donate all $8000 (or more) to charities, hospitals and relief funds within the next 10 years!

Lucky Taco is nothing if not resilient! We have faced so many challenges in the launching of our business and know that there may always be bumps in the road. From parking permit issues to faulty equipment, we have dealt with it all and know how to stay on top no matter what. Heck, we even produced a tiny human in our first year of business!
