MRS. HENDERSON'S CAT PROGRESS!!!
Hello friends, family, and funders!!
At long last...here is a much overdue update on the progress of "Mrs. Henderson's Cat". I bet you've all but just forgotten about this project (..and maybe you've even given up on us). Well, don't fret...this cool, little movie is coming along just dandy. And, if I may say so myself, it looks AMAZING. Athena Ripka and Matthew Jacob Wayne are awesome as Christine and Bobby. I couldn't have asked for two better actors!!
My editor and I have been hard at work to get this picture done. There is still a ways to go, but we are finally in a place where I'm feeling really good and am getting antsy to share our movie with all of you, our amazing Kickstarter supporters!
There are still a number of steps we must complete before it's 100% done -- including music, sound mixing, FX, and color correction. So be patient, just a little while longer. With a little more time and some hard work, "Mrs. Henderson's Cat" will soon be seen by the world....(ok maybe not by the world, but definitely seen at some reputable film festivals).
I don't want to give away too much, but in the meantime....to hold y'all over...here are some stills taken from the film. ENJOY!!
"Mrs Henderson's Cat" is IN THE CAN!!
Hey everybody! Long time, no update.
For those of you who are not "in the biz", do not be confused by the title of my post. No, my film has not been thrown away in the trash can (phew!!). In the movie-biz, when a project is "in the can", it that means that we've completed filming...(it comes from back in the day, when movies we're shot on film and the film was stored in CANisters). Now, I have no idea how many hours of footage we actually have...but we filmed for a total of 7 days...our last day being Saturday the 10th. All the footage is now in the hands of our assistant editor who is busy prepping -- organizing and labeling the takes, logging everything, synching up the sound, etc. After that, our editor will start the long and tedious (but I think, exciting and fun) process of editing our little project.
So, hold on tight. It's going to be a while before we see anything. But I promise you...it's gonna be good. I've seen most of the footage and I'm really excited about how everything looks. It's gonna be an really cool movie.
I just wanted to fill y'all in and let you know where we are in the process. I'll be sure to keep you updated as the project progresses
