The Glass Art Universe

  As a third generation glass artist I have always strived to create new techniques that have never been seen before. It is always fun to view a complex art piece and wonder how it was made. Just as any person who appreciates fine art, I have collected pieces from other artists over the years.

  As a collector, it is a great achievement to own a featured art piece. With my new series using a new technique I came up with last month, the opportunity to offer featured art pieces was born. Glass Line Magazine has always been a great source of information and instruction on glass art. This Magazine is going to publish a complete feature of how my new glass sculpture universe is made.

Included in this magazine there will be six sculptures that will be displayed in the gallery section of the article. These will make a great addition to a serious art collection. The Glass Sculpture created in the feature will also be available.

The magazine article goes to print in mid July. The feature art piece reward will need to be committed by July 7th, for the new owner to be listed in the magazine feature. The project feature itself will be written and submitted to the editor by June 30th. The editor has approved the project concept, topic and outline. This is the 4th article I have written for this magazine so working with the staff is well orgainzed and problem free. The Glass Art Universe Sculptures will be made and delivered throughout the project. All pieces will be mailed prior to the end of August. The magazines will be mailed as soon as they are printed. They are due to hit the news stands in August as well.

Universe Art pieces will be created as your support comes in. With the stars being created with dichroic glass and further planets and comets formed with pure silver, the cost of the necessary materials requires the support of you.

The support of this project will allow me to continue on my quest of new ways to melt and shape multen glass into fine art. Most of all, it will help me share my passion for glass with all of you!
