Thanks, everyone, for donating!

We're very happy that we've already reached our fundraising goal. We still have some time to raise more money, and we'd like you to let friends and family know that the fundraising is ongoing.

With the added money, we can begin to plan bigger and better things. Our magazine is going to be special because we’re not skimping: the art presentation is going to be second-to-none, and we’re using a local Brooklyn printer to keep business in the community. With more money, we can print more pages or more copies; in other words, the magazine gets better. Our new goal is $5000.

So, please keep the word going out. The way K-starter works is that the goal is a minimum, and we’d like to think that this initial round clearly indicates that people are behind the magazine, and not just for this first issue but for the long run.
