Rubberneck is a slow-burning, character-driven psychosexual thriller that will be premiering at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.
The film was made by Alex Karpovsky (director/co-writer/co-editor, actor) and Garth Donovan (co-writer/co-editor/producer), whose previous features have played at the SXSW Film Festival and numerous others. Rubberneck was produced by Mike Bowes and Adam Roffman and stars Jaime Ray Newman, Amanda Good Hennessey, Dennis Staroselsky, and Dakota Shepard.
Preparing the film for its world premiere at Tribeca, we have incurred numerous financial welts and bruises in the past few months. Currently, we are in debt to our colorist, sound mixer, composer, web designer and a gracious brother-in-law who runs a small printing shop in town. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated, will enable the film to endure along its festival run, and most importantly enable us to emerge from this financial hole with all limbs and joints in good working order.
