Brandon, thanks for asking!
The current status is that we are still going through the tremendous amount of footage that we shot on our first trip to Nicaragua. The translating and transcribing is taking MUCH longer than we originally expected, based on a few different hiccups that have come up.
In the meantime we have come across some other organizations in the states that are doing some similar services as the group in Nicaragua so we will be spending some time with them and capturing their efforts. This will allow us to compare and contrast the differences and similarities between one of the poorest nations and one of the richest.
So work is progressing, thank you for the inquiry!
Can you please update us on this project?
I'm proud of you all for doing the heart-wrenching work of trying to bring justice to this situation. And don't ever apologize for being too graphic or real in the descriptions about what's going on. We need to come alongside these women and young girls and enter into their suffering as much as we can so that we might join them in bringing redemption to their lives. I can't think of a more Christ-like posture than to try and enter into their suffering as fully as possible in order to try and help rescue them. Keep the strongly worded updates coming!
Great Job raising the money guys!!! Cant wait to see the film.
congrats on raising the funds. Looking forward to the production.
