Update #1: Fixed Lyric Canvas Link
Hey all
The link to the picture of the lyric canvas is broken, and Kickstarter won't let you edit rewards, so here is the working link: http://bit.ly/i3vJDh
For reference, that canvas is 24"x36", although the ones we make for The Mistress might be slightly smaller (depending on how long the songs are).

A copy of The Mistress on vinyl and a very special lyric canvas by Brooklyn artist Sarah Mulligan. Sarah will be making one lyric canvas for each song on The Mistress. What's a lyric canvas? Check out this one she recently made for In The Aeroplane Over The Sea: http://bit.ly/9ZzQlf The one lyric canvas for each song will be available on a first come first serve basis. Once each song's canvas is reserved, it is gone.

Yellow Ostrich is Alex Schaaf and Michael Tapper.
Formed in Wisconsin as Alex's bedroom recording project, Yellow Ostrich became a "real band" in the summer of 2010 when Alex moved to New York City, released three EPs in one month, and recruited Michael Tapper (formerly of We Are Scientists and currently of Bishop Allen) to play drums.
The Mistress is Yellow Ostrich's first LP.
