About this project
We love people! And we love music.
We are raising $4130.00 to record an album.The band is called The Emporiums, a new project made up of seasoned singer/songwriters Karla Adolphe, Aaron Strumpel and their surrounding musical community.
The goal of this project is to provide people with an environment for self-discovery, to find places of hope and joy, to enter into the constant process of building up where things have been torn down, to reconnect with true identities and find real relationships.
The things we need to cover for this project are:

If we get more than our goal, we will help us with other costs like a website, tour support and marketing

The Emporiums is a new musical pairing of acclaimed songwriters Karla Adolphe and Aaron Strumpel. Two warm and rich voices, combined with intelligent songwriting, form a sound scape of contemplation and self discovery. You are invited to stay awhile, take your time digging through treasures, characters, gorgeous harmonies and the warm, earthy tones The Emporiums effortlessly create.
I am the Richest is an album crafted rather than recorded; all the songs were written over a 3-days and were commissioned and co written for the album. A rootsy, Americana feel pervades the album which includes throw backs to deep South gospel traditions and special attention to integrative, gorgeous harmonies. Songs like Old Hickory, The Singing Well, Lucy, I am the Richest and Come Home (I Don't Know If I Can) stand out as talisman along the winding journey The Emporiums have created.
