Update #6: TimmonsMusic Kickstarter UpDate:
Howdy partners,
So yesterday was a big day for me. I AM OFFICIALLY DONE with my part of recording this record! I sent it off to Paul Mabury, my producer in Nashville, and we are beginning the mixing process this month.
This record is obliterating all of my expectations. I am blown away by the songs that God has given me in this past season and to have them take on a life of their own is so exciting. I can’t wait for y’all to hear this stuff!
I know what you’re thinking… That’s great Timmons, now where are my incentives that you promised? Thanks for asking folks…
I have not forgotten about you! I will be sending you information on downloads and release dates as we get closer to the launch date, which is still being determined.
We’ve pushed back the albums release a few months so that we can properly promote/market the greater story of these songs and the greater mission of Let’s Be Beautiful. Right now, we are aiming for Fall 2012.

Update #5: The Grateful Ones!!!!!!!!
We just watched what felt like the ball dropping at the Times Square New Years Eve fiesta, as the weeks broke down to days, as days down to hours left, hours to minutes, and then minutes to seconds…..$44,915!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND thanks to the Beautiful generosity of BONEHEADS restaurant (go2boneheads.com) 366 backers means 366 meals that we (YOU) will be a part of giving to the homeless and families living in motels in Orange County. We’ll get you more info on the details of where and when we will be doing this- we would love for you to join us!
What a surreal beginning to this next season! Honestly I can’t even begin to thank each and every one of you for your emails, notes of encouragement, and your financial generosity that has backed up your support with action. As we’ve looked over each of your names and put faces and stories next to them, we feel so loved.During this past year, it became so clear that I was supposed to do this album and yet, I knew I was supposed to be a part of something bigger than the album; bigger than me. I’ve known that anything I do must be pointing toward influence in the Church: moving cognitive believers about Jesus to active followers of Jesus. There is a huge difference between the two and I am so excited to be apart this revolution!Last week I went to Nashville to write songs and meet with producers and the trip was truly amazing! I had the opportunity to talk through this project and the vision driving it to some very influential people. And God is opening doors like crazy!!! So grateful. The fact that I will be working with some of the most sought after producers and musicians in the industry is great, but that they align with the greater vision is way more important to me for the integrity of this project. The same is true of the friends and heroes that I’ve written songs with for this album. January/February will launch the beginning of the actual recording process in Nashville. YES, your next role in supporting me (if you so choose) is praying for my incredibly supportive, beautiful, and courageous wife during those weeks as she parents our 4 amazing kids solo! Hey Everybody! We can't thank you enough for all of the support and encouragement you've offered to Tim and the Let's Be Beautiful Project over the last month- we are blown away!
We have 16 days left in the campaign, and remember, for every backer Boneheads will provide a meal for a motel/homeless family in Orange County. Tim Timmons is a worship leader, songwriter, and artist based out of Irvine, CA. His passion for leading believers to become followers of Jesus has inspired him to write such modern worship favorites as The Grateful and Never Will.
Having lived with a diagnosis of incurable cancer for the past 9 years, the honesty and personal vulnerability in Tim’s worship leading has given him a platform to point people to Jesus in concerts, churches and conferences across the country.
Currently writing for his next release, "Let's Be Beautiful", Tim continues to create original songs of faith that wrestle with the implications of truly following Jesus.
“What would happen if all of the professed believers in the world actually became followers of Jesus in their everyday lives? What would happen in our communities? I want to ask questions that lead people to respond honestly to God; whether that’s in anger or confusion or gratefulness or surrender.
Tim and his amazing wife Hilary have been married for 13 years and have 4 (count em, 4) amazing kids; Malia, Noah, and twins Aaron and Anna.
