It happened! We raised the money for this project! We are absolutely beside ourselves. Overjoyed, overwhelmed, overeverything. Thank you SO MUCH!!
These last 48 hours have been such a surreal experience for us. Between the BoingBoing feature, the 15,000+ Youtube hits, our generous friends and families, and all of you new listeners who made your way here, we are in shock, humbled, and so, so happy. We just had a band practice to get ready for a backyard send-off show on Thursday, and there were a lot of smiles in that room.
We can't wait to make you some music while we're in Chengdu! Thanks for believing in our ability to make something worth listening to. We'll be thinking about all of you and your wonderful support as we're writing/recording/filming this thing. 谢谢 (thank you), everyone.
