About this project

A.K.A is an adrenalin-fueled, action packed, “grindhouse” inspired 4 issue crime comic that explores what happens when you double-cross the wrong man. Brought together by the writer/artist team of Steven Walters, and Rob Reilly, A.K.A is the story of Guy Doyle, a ruthless bodyguard of one of the most notorious crime bosses in New York. When he gets the order to kill Adrian Truelove, a famous gang leader who fathers a child with the mob bosses daughter, a hunt for Truelove ensues and a story that’ll leave you wanting more with each tension filled issue begins.

The book is also supplemented by 4 page, faux upcoming books by some of today’s hottest creators like: Mike Oeming, Joe Kelly, Bryan J.L Glass, Neil Vokes, and John Broglia

But there’s one more thing we need: Your help.

Where will the money go:

With your donations, we intend to bring the world of AKA further to life with a full color and lettering production. All the money raised from Kickstarter will go to funding the letterer, Jeff Powell and colorist, Giuseppe Pica finally getting our project to the finish line and giving you an experience you wont soon forget. Any additional funds will used towards printing costs. Steve and Rob have spent a few bucks to have 5 pages and the cover colored to showcase around to publishers. However, they just don't have the necessary funds to see the entire series through.

We’ve put together a list of creative and one-of-a kind incentives for each level of participation towards our goal. From downloadable formats of A.KA before it’s released, Sketches of your favorite characters or getting an original piece of artwork from the series itself. And lastly all backers will be listed in no particular order as a thank you, both in the digital and printed format.
