The Perverted Virtue Team
Perverted Virtue is about a young woman unfulfilled by her aloof husband, who babies his laptop more than his wife. She schemes to poison him, hoping that his illness will bring them closer. Meanwhile, a swindling con man is hired by an up-and-coming reality TV producer to dig up a subject to exploit for their next hit series. When the con man meets the wife however, both of their plans and motives are turned upside down. Set in Los Angeles, the film explores the theme of artificial dreams and the comedic downfall of those who seek them in dishonest and morally questionable ways.
Our humble crew is made up of several recently graduated graduate students. We hope to create a theatrically styled film noir with ideas that will engage viewers in a deep way while, of course, entertaining as well.
Your pledge is extremely important to us as it will help cover the food cost for our cast and crew, production expenses, and to fund our post-production process. As importantly, you'll be helping to promote a truly independent film venture.

Summre is a graduate of the Master of Arts – Cinema program at San Francisco State University. There, she completed her written thesis; Robotic Femmes: Gender, Technology and the State of Feminism. She has produced several film and video projects including, most recently, the award winning The Strange Rebirth of Andre Weil. Currently, Summre is the submissions manager for the Slamdance Film Festival.
