MTW Enterprises and Garage Mahal productions bring you the eagerly awaited summer music event SCHNECK-A-PALOOZA 2011 at the Garage Mahal in Mechanicsville,VA!!! The BYOB event will span a full spectrum of music from country, to metal, to include some of the most talented acts in the RVA!!!
The line-up includes: Gojira X, Octane Saints, Pontious Pirates, Magnificent Bastards, U.S. Brass, Barstool Heroes, Reverend D-Ray and the Shockers, Weeping Molly, Secret Agent T, The Ultra Kings, Crossroad Voodoo, The Chiggers, Rocket Queen, Voodoo Hippie Love Cult, and special guests to be announced!!
There will be AMAZING food from ROCKFISH TACO catering offered at only $5 a plate, and camping (tent) sites available in advance for all of those diehard fans who over-indulge!! Comedians Patrick McCarthy and Corey Marshall will be there to keep us laughing between acts as well!!Magazine33 and Richmond.com magazine will be covering the show too! Fun is GUARANTEED and T-shirts will be available to commemorate the entire event!!!!! BUT alas, NOTHING is free in this world. Although Mark and Tara offer the venue, electricity, the original Flood Zone's TURBOSOUND System, LED/LASER lightshow, and hospitality out of the goodness of their hearts... there are still VERY tall production fees to run such an event: ( port-a-let rentals, food and beer tab for the bands and staff, clean up and recycling fees, promotional fees,t-shirt costs, etc.) The total (well over $3000) is paid in full every year by Mark and Tara to promote a DONATION ONLY show to support local music and musicians. This year, we are trying to recoupe some of the costs to grow the show and to solidify it as a local annual tradition. To do so, we need YOUR SUPPORT via donations! BUT WAIT, (you are thinking)...didn't you say "nothing is free"? That is 100% CORRECT!
There will be gifts for your patronage... and the BIGGER the donation: the BIGGER the PAYOFF!! So support local music... and be REWARDED!!
