The Comic
The webcomic I run is The Loneliest Spacegirl. I have been running it for a year and a half and absolutely love it. A new comic is posted twice a week about the Loneliest Spacegirl's story and various other random comics. My favorite parts about my comic are adding a little humor to people's days and finding new fans.
APE = The Alternative Press Expo
APE is one of my favorite annual events of all time. I started going years ago just to view the amazing art work of independent artists from the Bay Area and around the country. I would always leave as a new fan of many people's work. Last year I was able to have my own table and put my comic out in front of a great audience. I sold out of all of my mini and regular comic books half way through the second day, so I greatly underestimated how much people would like my work. Having nicely printed books, cleaver pins, and mini comics are a really great way to get the word out and also connect with other artists.
How You Pledge Can Help
Printing ain't cheap. Last year I printed the books at kinko's which added up, and this year I hope to print twice as many. Also the printing of pins was donated to me by a friend last year and they are so cute and go over really well with people. And having extra things like fun coasters or a cardboard cutout, well, that's just icing on the cake! I will post lots of awesome pictures with me at APE with all the cool stuff you guys helped me put together.

The Loneliest Spacegirl is the brainchild of Susannah Sandow, an all-around awesome person. She writes songs and draws comics and other things in the Bay Area of California. The Loneliest Spacegirl brings a little thoughtful humor to an otherwise drab day (Well, I hope your day isn't drab, I actually hope it's always totally awesome, but on the off chance it isn't the most amazing day ever, maybe the LSG can help!).
