Ten days in
Well, we are ten days into our Kickstarter Project and The Boston Cocktail Summit is abuzz with activity! This past week three new presenters have confirmed their attendance; David Wondrich, widely recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on cocktails and their history; Doug Frost,one of three individials in the world to simultaneously hold the Master of Wine and Master Sommelier titles and Francesco Lafranconi, one of the world’s foremost mixologists, National Director of Mixology and Spirits Educator for Southern Wine and Spirits and one of U.S.B.G.’s national ambassadors.
On the Kickstarter project side, we have recieved sponsor requests ranging from a cocktail writing, blogging and newsletter open panel presentation, a food-safe treatment for hardwoods used to make muddlers and a new design of the ice mallet and crushing bag. All would make great candidates for the sponsor funding we are raising through Kickstarter.
I would like to thank everyone who has pledged to date, your support helps in so many ways. I could not help but notice that we have 180 Facebook likes, yet only 25 pledges; do you think the information regarding the project is clear enough for thorough understanding?
