This is Tina, and I'm commenting here under this account because Laura is too heartbroken to return and feels angry. There's much disappointment to go around; Laura has learned that fans who love her "fan arts" and said they'd support her, did not. While I know she appreciates EVERYONE who pledged in this drive, she still has no monies for the work she's done and must still labor away at her real job, making time only for Roulette when she can.
Some of you are on here asking about fan arts for cash. Wow. >_> This project was about Roulette. There are places online where Laura holds court, that you can request fan arts for yourself, this is not the place. :/
Laura cannot access the internet on a daily basis, so I decided to come on here and at least that those who were cool enough to pledge (and I guess scold those who said they would, but didn't).

I pledged the 5$ one but I don't want/need the poster (rather, I just want the digital edition and don't wanna deal with the hassles of shipping), should I just follow that up after?

I have to admit that I'm checking on this page almost everyday because I really really really don't want this project to die! You guys deserve having it published, seriously, you did an amazing job on the 1st chapter! I also wish you the best of luck.

Può darsi.....xD sinceramente entro poco nel gruppo ma non sono una che passa inosservata quindi é molto probabile xD ma figurati! Dico solo la verità, solitamente sono stucca in fatto di fumetti, se non é disegnato secondo i miei gusti non lo considero. Invece il tuo mia ha conquistata! Ho scoperto il tuo lavoro solo .... 10 minuti fa (grazie ad una segnalazione fatta dalle Peruggine) e mi è stato impossibile non innamorarmi del tuo lavoro! I just became a backer - I will try to get the word out on this project.
I have been to Yaoi Con in the past two years - and not only does sellers have yaoi in the traditional Japanese sense, but there are gay romance novels and gay webcomics written by American artists - it really is everything boy love or male/male

I've been tweeting this to my followers. I write gay romance so it's related enough for me. Also, I think this is considered yaoi because the term has really transformed from being simply Japanese created only into any male/male comic regardless of the country of origin. At least enough to gather the right audience you need for the drive.

Oh, I was not sure if I was “allowed” but seeing that people even post pictures of cute dogs there I figured why not as this seemed more appropriate. I would say that yaoi-con is more about… hmm about appreciation of male beauty, does not matter if it published in Japanese or “western” publications/comics.

@Anna It is my understanding that Yaoi-con is about promoting what is yaoi from Japan? I am surprised that they allow a comment on their FB page about a project that is not considered to be 'yaoi'. Thank you all the same! The more word is spread, the better!!
