My name is Phil King. I am an artist with SoulStride/EMI & I have a radio single out right now called “How Much You Love,” it's been playing around the country, and you may have heard it on the air.
So I want to tell y’all who I am, and why I am doing this Kickstarter.
Since I was a young child I have always had a heart for the nations, and been obsessed with foreign languages and travel. (Airplanes and trains specifically) Growing up I always thought that the Lord was going to use me as a missionary. So it wasn't uncommon to hear me practicing German or Chinese as a little kid. (I am not kidding...)
A few years down the road God gave me the gift of music, which I always looked at it as my side thing, or my "hidden talent" ...Not really knowing that He wanted to do anything with it. To be honest with you, playing music professionally was a door that I never knew God would open for me, until the He placed a major record deal in my lap out of no where.
Then it hit me... God had in mind the whole time to marry my love for travel and for being a missionary AND my love for music to bring His Kingdom the way He saw fit for me! Worship.
So now that everything is underway. I am getting booked and booked, and there's lots places I've got to be coming up quick, especially in the next 6 months. Which leaves me in great need of suitable transportation to get there.
Above all else I really want you the reader to know that you're investing in a lot more than just getting me wheels to go out and play good music or good shows... I've been out a few times already with some people and we are seeing miracles and healing happen, lives changed, and people encountering the real living God, many for the first time ever.
So whatever you're able to support with is GREATLY appreciated, and know that it's being placed into good hands.
