Honestly Danny I feel like that is a really legitimate response. I just wish we could hear more about the project. To jump to such conclusions is a bit rash.

for all backers below is a an email from Nicholas. It seems he reads the posts but cant supply an update:

Danny -- I haven't invested almost fifty thousand dollars of my own money into this film just to "scam" a paltry few thousand from you guys. We are behind schedule, and I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy about that and the lack of updates. But I am not a scammer -- just a guy like you trying to do the best he can. In fact, the reason that we're behind schedule is that I've had to take work that allows me to pay rent and keep all of the Kickstarter money in trust for Avi Krum.

As I said before, if you want a refund, just give me a PayPal account or mailing address, and I'll be happy to return your $25 pledge. But if you're angry about Kickstarter projects in general, I can't help you there. I can only tell you that posting nasty comments is not going to speed up our work.

@paul. there probably is no movie and we have been scammed. i tried to give the guy a chance. i guess he realized Kickstarter is the best place to pull off a scam without any recourse. KS is the accomplice.

Posted that to a comment on one of the updates. Its a shame he cant just post an update and let everyone know about the delays. These things happen, especially with Kickstarter, but most people are kind enough to update their backers when its going on 4 months past the estimated delivery date. Judging by his previous posts and promises of updates, I doubt we'll see the mentioned update "soon".

sooo... about that movie that you asked people to back you on. people could care less about stage fright. this project was not for backing that. this was to back a movie that in september you said you would give an update on the finishing process. did you mean finishing your other project ? scrapped avi and moved on to stage fright ?

you really should wait until the movies get academy awards before you act so aloof and dont communicate.
