      Hi Jean-Marc..
I'll have more of an update soon, but currently we're looking into all of the bands' schedules to get a time when we can get back out there. Since we had to reschedule due to the World Cup bombing, we haven't found 10 days that all bands can participate that also correlate with a time where IC Ugandan staff are available. We're shooting for this upcoming Fall. More soon!

Hi Henrik.. We're finishing up the rest of the fundraising and then we'll head out this Fall, film the documentary, and are looking to have something available for the holiday season this year. Thanks again for all the support!

Thank you all for not only imagining a better world, but for actively pursuing one through living a sort of positive protest. Here is a compelling passage from a speech JK Rowling gave as Harvard University's commencement speech a few years ago -

"Your intelligence, your capacity for hard work, the education you have earned and received, give you unique status, and unique responsibilities. Even your nationality sets you apart. The great majority of you belong to the world’s only remaining superpower. The way you vote, the way you live, the way you protest, the pressure you bring to bear on your government, has an impact way beyond your borders. That is your privilege, and your burden.

If you choose to use your status and influence to raise your voice on behalf of those who have no voice; if you choose to identify not only with the powerful, but with the powerless; if you retain the ability to imagine yourself into the lives of those who do not have your advantages, then it will not only be your proud families who celebrate your existence, but thousands and millions of people whose reality you have helped change. We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better."

"Choosing to live in narrow spaces leads to a form of mental agoraphobia, and that brings its own terrors. I think the willfully unimaginative see more monsters. They are often more afraid. What is more, those who choose not to empathise enable real monsters. For without ever committing an act of outright evil ourselves, we collude with it, through our own apathy."

I think you should include something like a letter from an inspirational child in Uganda. Or maybe even set up a Skype meeting for the 100 or 500 dollar donations. I am looking to donate as soon as I have the money. (Broke College film Student.) But I am a huge fan of La Blogotheque, longtime subscriber, and am a huge believer in this cause.

This is really incredible. I've been a huge fan of Blogotheque for sometime now and been involved with IC since 2005 East Coast tour. It's really great to see this collaboration! Can't wait to watch the finished film. Cheers!
