I am an all around artist, but my first love is pottery, and I have been doing my best to get back to it for two years now. At long last, I am most of the way there! I have a studio and a working wheel as well as most of the tools, tables and racks needed. What I do not have, however, is a kiln. The estimated cost of building a new raku kiln comes out to $375. Not too bad, but not exactly pocket change either.

This is where you come in. In return for donations, I will not send a simple thank you letter. Once the kiln is up and running, I will send you a thank you present, one of my new line of signature pots (see video or project picture).

Please note, however, that throwing, firing, glazing and rakuing pottery is a time consuming process and it may take some time before they are ready, even once the kiln is up and running. Each pot is completely handmade and will have its own unique features!

Funding Achieved!

Thank You to everyone who has supported my project!
