Connected as Remy Holwick (1036 friends)

Remy Holwick learned to sew at age three, and by age five was drafting patterns for dolls and neighborhood kids. She attended Reed College, where she learned formal drafting and construction for clothing and costume. She went on to New York, where she became a model for Calvin Klein, Georgio Armani, and others, and became known for her singular style, but ultimately decided that she loved the construction of the clothes more than being the face of the brands. In 2005, she took a position in ready-to-wear design in los angeles, and has spent the interim learning and making contacts across the industry. After almost a decade of designing professionally for many national and international brands, she has decided to launch her own company, along with a business partner with thirty years in the apparel industry, and support and consulting from industry vets.
