Thanks to all my fans that supported my last two albums. I'm ready to record again, after 3 years (geez, has it been that long?)
Tim is known for his "brutally honest" songwriting. His last project, So Human, takes a refreshing, honest look at the real life of a Christian, where he tackles topics like forgiveness, struggling with fleshly desires and even anger and despair.
It's been three years since So Human was released and Tim is ready with some new material: two new pop/rock songs to be produced as singles.
The first song, titled No Superhero is a power-pop, vocal and guitar-driven song that takes an introspective look at one's self.
"I'm no superhero, I don't fly across the sky
I cannot break through walls"...
The second song, tentatively titled Pride, is a confession song...and a cry for help:
"I have slipped into the shadows,
don't know how I mistook them for light.
And the tragedy, oh the gravity...is crushing me.
Save me...from me and my pride."
For this project, Tim needs $900 to record two songs. That will cover the cost of studio time, paying musicians, production, mixing, duplication and hopefully leave some left over for distribution.

Please do! This project is to fund the recording of two singles. However, Tim has at least 8 more songs he'd like to record right now. But recording an entire album takes time. People don't buy CDs the way they used to. They download songs individually. Any money donated beyond the amount needed for these two singles will go toward the recording of other songs in the near future.
And, if you donate more than the $200 (highest reward level) Tim will contact you about how we can design a special reward package just for you! -
People rarely buy full-length CDs anymore these days. But they will buy an individual song on iTunes or another similar service. By recording one or two songs at a time, Tim can keep costs down. And, once the singles are available, Tim can sell them to help raise money for future recordings. It's a lot easier to piecemeal this than to try to come up with $15-20,000 for an entire project at once. Now, if you want to donate $15-20K, Tim will be happy to record an entire project! :-)

Ooooh, let's hope that happens! If that does happen, I'll add another song (or two, depending on how much we raise) to the recording project. The more I raise, the more I'll record...and that makes your pledge worth even more, because you'll get more songs for your money! One song I'd really like to record is a worship song, entitled, "Remember the King." Some lyrics:

Good question! First...studio time. It costs money to record in a studio. You've got to pay the engineer, the mixer, the musicians, etc. for their time and talents. Thankfully, I have good friends who give me really good deals on those things. That's why this is so inexpensive. Trust me, it could cost thousands of dollars per song.
Secondly, after paying for studio time and musicians, I'll use some of the money for duplication. I've got to burn CDs, create artwork, etc. Those materials cost as well. I'll likely do the design work myself. And I don't charge me much. ha! Then, if there's any money left over, I'll use it to promote the songs, to try to get folks to buy downloads...most likely through iTunes, CDbaby and some other websites.
