About this project
THE POMEGRANATE PAPERS is my third book of poetry and my ninth book, and it's coming out in April from unbound Content, a small, independent, woman-owned publisher. The book is a full-length collection of my prize-winning poetry about mothering & creativity, and I am inviting you to come along with me on this journey by backing my book tour in April and May.
I live in South Carolina, and two years ago, I did a double book tour for my novel and poetry collection that came out that year, driving over 3000 miles up and down the east coast at my own expense in one month.
This time I plan to fly to several venues (I'm going to Kansas to read with the state poet laureate there! O Dorothy!) and maybe I'll even get a hotel room in one or two of the cities. (Mama heaven! A clean room of one's own for a night!)

The Pomegranate Papers will be published on Cassie's birthday-- April 13th, 2012, and you will receive your books then. The Mp3 recordings and poetry readings will happen in May-- in plenty of time for Mother's Day delivery-- and for the big backers, Cassie Premo Steele will come visit your city to give a poetry reading or writing workshop at your convenience. If you live in the midwest, we can fit it into the book tour in April or May, or we can plan for the summer or fall visit if you prefer.
