A highly detailed how-to guide for both the new and veteran MMORPG raider based on a decade of experience.
Thank you for viewing my project!
I've spent over half my life playing MMORPGs and the last ten years running a guild and raiding. That is a lot of time invested in virtual worlds! I wanted to share the culture and experiences I've had with new players so that they can make the most of their time spent.
Raiding in MMORPGs is becoming a far more prevalent form of play. Getting into that play-style can often involve a steep learning curve and that can be frustrating. I'd like to take the trip and smooth it out so that new players spend more time having fun and less time confused.
Veteran raiders will also find value in The Raider's Companion! To meet their needs I've invested time covering more advanced concepts in great detail. I drew from over ten years of raiding experience to put together a list of what has worked well for me to give the seasoned raider an edge.
Raiding should be about having fun and killing monsters. Let me help make all of the other things that go along with that easier!
The manuscript for The Raider's Companion is complete and in proofreading. Your donations will not be going towards supporting me while I write! That part is done. I'm looking for assistance in covering professional editing, art assets, marketing, and other things of that nature. With your support I hope to have the book ready for the market by Christmas 2011 or early in 2012. Please keep in mind that with each supporter level you'll receive the rewards from the previous level as well.
