Juice Box is an urban juicery started by chefs Brandin Myett and Kari Brunson. We will be serving freshly pressed and locally grown fruits and vegetables to patrons of the Seattle Farmers Markets. The business idea stemmed from their own daily juicing routine started with a tiny juicer that Brandin bought years ago. 

Our focus is fresh produce; you will not be seeing sugar filled, frozen fruit, protein powder smoothies.  Instead, you will see combinations like Beet, Apple, Carrot, Ginger, and fresh Aloe. Juice Box is here to provide for others what we have discovered for ourselves.  Drinking produce is a great way to have your fruits and vegetables.  

For us the farmers' market is a foundation, a place to build a presence for Juice Box.  Looking to the future we plan to open a permanent space in spring 2013.  We call ourselves an urban juicery to signify an allegiance to the culinary world (i.e. quality, knowledge, creativity).  An important distinction as Starbucks coffee and Jamba Juice are in the process of launching juicebars nationwide.  The produce itself contains what's good for you.

Our financial needs:  a commercial juicer, various permits, tent, cups/straws, signage, produce as well as the other 1000 things that pop up when starting a small business.
