We heard your feedback! New sizes and: Torx!
One of the greatest parts of releasing a product on Kickstarter has been the amazing feedback we've received from everyone. Your help will really shape our product between now and launch.
We've taken your advice on two key issues and we're ready to announce some great changes to the Blink/Steady bike light:
Now compatible with larger seat-posts! 30.8 - 31.6!
We started out compatible with a standard, 27.2mm seat-post, but after some manufacturing research it looks like we'll be able to offer an additional size that will fit seat-posts from 31.6mm down to 30.8mm!
When we wrap up the Kickstarter campaign, a survey will go out to everyone about who you are and where you live, and we'll include a question for which size you'd prefer.
Torx!
You all asked for, and we finally found some Torx cap screws small enough for the Blink/Steady light. We will of course include the tool in the package when it ships. These screws cost a lot more than our regular 2mm allen bolts, so we'll let you decide if you want Torx or not by adding a pledge amount that's just a few bucks more than standard.

I just upped my backing to the $180 level for 2 Blink Steady lights. My question (since it isn't lear in the description) is if these units at this level come with the torx screws. Looking forward to receiving these - just bought a new bike and want to make it a bit safer to ride at night.

What if you don't know what kind of seat post size you're going to have? I wrecked my current bike, and I don't know what I'm going to replace it with yet.
