I've reached my goal amount of $4,000 all thanks to YOU. You guys are amazing and I am so incredibly grateful to have your support - plus I'm really excited about all these home concerts!

Don't forget to keep spreading the word! The cost of recording and printing the EP is about $12,000, so every extra penny I can put towards it is an absolute blessing. There's only one personalised song prize left too so snap that one up quick if you want me to write an original song just for you!

HELP ROSIE MAKE HER DEBUT EP AND GET LOTS OF GOODIES!

I'm attempting to raise funds through Kickstarter by August 31, 2010 to record and press my EP, which will look gorgeous with images by photographer prodigy Nirrimi Hakanson and layout by my graphic designer sister Nikki. Helping me to make this EP sound incredible will be producer Sarah McCallum, soundie Richie Belkner, and a host of glorious session musicians including Terepai Richmond (Missy Higgins, The Whitlams), Neal Sutherland (Bertie Blackman), Brian Campeau (Elena Stone) and a Polish string quartet!

Records don't come cheap though so I'll need a bit of your help to cover some of the production & printing costs. Luckily for you, if you pledge specific amounts you can get things in return. Everyone who donates $1 will be listed on my website. $10 gets you a digital copy of the EP before it's official release. For $25 you'll get a signed copy of the EP. And for just $200 you'll get a home concert! The rewards get better and better, and for each one listed you'll get everything listed before it too.

So why an EP? My little home recorded demos have been floating around on the net for what feels like an eternity and I think it's about time that I have something decent to show booking agents, radio DJs, and above all YOU. This EP will mean more airplay, more gigs and a very happy Rosie.

I want to get as many people involved as possible. If you have a blog, blog about it. If you have twitter, tweet about it. * A BIT MORE ABOUT THE REWARDS

EP LAUNCH: Tickets to the EP launch can be exchanged for any other gig I do as long as I'm able to give out complimentary tickets. I'll get in touch with you if I reach my goal amount and we can figure out what you prefer :)

HOME CONCERTS: Even if you don't live within a 2hr radius of Sydney or even in Australia, if I ever happen to be in your town you can redeem the home concert. Thus far I have plans to travel Aus and the US/Canada within the next few years so speak up now if you want me to come to your town!

PERSONALISED SONG: I'll write a song on the topic of your choice (be tasteful unless you know me really really well). I'll also give you an audio copy of the song to keep. If my luck suddenly changes and I have free reign over a recording studio then I'll record it there, but otherwise it'll just be a home recording on my little H4 Zoom 4-track.

COLOURING BOOK: I wrote the words. My sis did the illustrations. It's called Isabel Likes To Daydream and will be published and distributed through La La Land. Here's a sneak-peak at the cover...

* HAVING TROUBLE MAKING PAYMENTS?

You can check out the Kickstarter FAQ at http://www.kickstarter.com/help/faq. It's likely that if you're having trouble with your Amazon Payments account it's because you're not based in the US, which usually means that you just need to create a new account (annoying, I know!).

If your question isn't there in the FAQ and you're still having trouble, contact the Kickstarter team - they are really friendly and will usually reply within a few days. Don't worry though, no money will be withdrawn until after August 31 so you have plenty of time to sort out any issues.
