Is there room for a new form of entertainment?
This is not a Book, or a Movie, or a Game...
Since I was a child I have been fascinated by Sci-fi/Adventure and Fantasy stories. I grew up reading Jules Vern's and Edgar Rice Burroughs. But being mostly a visual person, traditional books with no illustrations overwhelm me. Looking for a way to connect even deeper with the stories, I started reading comic books and graphic novels. Eventually, I found myself making stop motion movies with my father's 8mm camera. Then on into my late teens, I was mesmerize with the new possibility that video games would bring. Ever since I can remember I have this idea of combining all these things: Books, Movies and Games into a new way of Storytelling...
The name is not new... but we think the application is! Welcome to Storytelling 2.0... an amazing and innovative way of entertainment. Angal Tentara is an interactive story, full of animation, different timelines and multi-touch elements. At the same time the content of the story is one of HOPE, which we think brings a breath of fresh air in times where the economic turmoil, and the general sense of gloom and doom portrayed by the general media has overwhelmed us. It sometimes makes us forget that we are capable of overcoming anything in life... Angal Tentara awakes the senses that bring to life the possibilities of achievement through faith in the good and greatness we all aspire to.
We truly belief that this is a magical story for a magical device...

"Angal Tentara and the Root of all Evil" is an exciting interactive animation for the iPad which is based on a story that my wife and I have been working on for the past 10 years. This story is so rich and touched our hearts in so many ways because it showed us the power that we have within us as human beings. It reminds us that we all have a mission, a destiny that will not be fulfilled if we do not believe ... This is a wonderful story about a girl named Angal Tentara who is the sole survivor of an ancient civilization that vanished from Earth millions of years ago. She is reborn in present times and her adventures will take her (and you) around the world... discovering her past... learning about her soul, and fulfilling her destiny.
We truly believe that Angal Tentara is a magical story for a magical device!
Story Telling 2.0
Angal Tentara is a mixture between a book, a movie, and a game, and is a revolutionary new way of telling stories that involve reading, listening and playing. Our book app is unique and uses all the senses of sight, sound and touch where the user becomes more than an observer of events. It will become a part of them. You will be able to interact with meaningful elements of the story by having options to change the perspective.
For instance, you can touch one of the characters and find out their point of view or maybe go back in time and tap into a characters memories and then share the findings with your social network. You can read the text in one of several languages. You can record your own voice telling the story. You can interact with the characters and objects by using multi-touch gestures. You can go to different levels like a game to learn about backgrounds, history and more in-depth information. Story Telling 2.0 is an exciting interactive format that the entire family can enjoy!
Angal Tentara and the Root of all Evil is the First Chapter of several to come and each will be delivered as an individual app. They will average about 25 minutes of animation however, because of the interaction with the story, it could be hours before you can put it down!!
What will your pledge be used for.....
The Rewards are named after the Waterfalls that Angal visits on her journey around the world. These rewards are really awesome mementos pertaining to the story itself. Your pledge will be used for the hiring of more animators, voice talent, music score, and also to buy equipment needed to complete the story. It is our goal to provide contributors with meaningful and exciting rewards.... so just pick which Waterfall you will visit with Angal Tentara.

Ricardo Bernardini is an award-winning creative visionary who doesn't so much think outside the box as he thinks as if there were no box. As an illustrator, animator, multi-media artist and chief creative officer at Tentara Digital Studios, he has pushed boundaries and changed the way things look and the way we experience them, for over twenty years. Ricardo takes ideas and connects with style and wit and intelligence -- things that resonate throughout pop culture consciousness at large, and advance its evolution.
From groundbreaking character design, illustrations and environments for animation, such as his award - winning “The First Fall” a best in class 3D masterpiece in the 2008 Create Awards Competition, Ricardo is a forward thinker. As a lover of space travel and new technology since adolescence, Ricardo’s soon to be released Graphic Novel, “ Angal Tentara”, will sure to be a bona fide hit with animation studios in the US and overseas.
Being ahead of his time is par for the course for Ricardo, who was born in Venezuela to Italian Immigrants. His talents were recently tapped by I.D.E.A.S. His re-creation of Walt Disney’s blueprints for Space Ship Earth is proudly displayed as a mural at SIEMENS offices at EPCOT’S attraction.
Ricardo also served as a lead creator for a LIVE entertainment project in Miami scheduled to debut nationally in 2012 on the NBC Network. Ricardo is admired by his peers throughout the country for his creative talent as well as his versatility in bringing memorable characters and designs to life.
