"Torment comes to all of us, usually in small, quiet pinches served up daily by our
families, our bosses, and our wilting dreams.  To some, it comes shouting and swinging like an angry lover.   To a very few, it comes blasting through the front door like maniacs bent on rape and murder.

But for one man, torment comes softly on bare feet, cloaked in the guise of four beautiful young girls.  They are always there--they have always BEEN there--watching, waiting for him to succumb to his unclean impulses--his secret needs.  When he finally loses control and goes too far, they laugh and mock him.  They shame him until he explodes in violent, fury.  And while he cuts and beats and kicks, they laugh all the more. 

But now, things have changed.  They're back, clothed this time in skin and bone and meat and gristle.  Suddenly, they can be skinned like deer, or drowned like kittens.  Suddenly, he can punch, throttle, and beat them until their smooth skin breaks--until their impudent, staring eyes turn glassy and dry.

But these angels are not so easily turned away.   Death cannot end their will to torment.  Death only makes them stronger.

As you can see, Odium isn't your ordinary low budget horror movie.  For starters, we have a great story peopled with unusual and engaging characters who struggle with madness, torment, betrayal, and shocking revelations.  The story, in turn, has attracted top talent, in front of and behind the camera.  We have spent thousands of dollars acquiring the professional equipment and talented technicians necessary to bring this story to gruesome, technicolor, high definition, life.

Your generous donations are not necessary to shoot this film, nor will the funds simply line our pockets--we're already in production, and we're all happily working for free.  However, successfully funding this project will turn a good film into a GREAT film.  Every penny of every donation will show up on the screen.  Every dollar is carefully budgeted to cover location fees, costuming, make-up, and special effects.  Believe it or not, there are stunning locations in Indiana, and very talented artists.  With your help, we'll produce a terrifying thrill ride that literally looks like a million bucks.

Horror fans are REAL movie fans, who will dig as deep as necessary to find shocking, original, and turn-the-lights-back-on scary movies, but we will not be pandered to.  A knock-off zombie, serial killer, or vampire movie will draw only scorn.  Odium, by contrast, is a genuine passion project manned (and womaned!) by horror fans, for horror fans.  This is the real thing, with surprises, suspense, and terror.

Look carefully at our reward levels.  No matter the amount, you'll be receiving at least one professionally designed product related to the film.  If nothing else, contribute ten bucks and you'll get a copy of Odium before it goes on sale, and before it hits the festivals! 

This is a film we believe in, enough to donate hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to create.  If you are a horror fan, help us give birth to this fetid, twisted baby.  Pledge a few bucks and see what you helped create.  Be part of something great.  Be part of Odium.
