In our biggest event to date, Color Field Ensemble is bringing 15 musicians and artists together in Madison, WI for 2 days of chamber music, art and sound installations, outdoor concerts and world premiere performances. With the help of Concert Black, Alejandro Acierto, Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, and ADJ*ective New Music LLC, the 2012 Color Field Festival for Contemporary Music will feature music by over two dozen emerging composers from around the globe, performed throughout the city of Madison, culminating in a 6-hour concert event.

The funding needs of a two-day, multi-venue music festival range from lighting technicians to instrument transport to program printing. We've covered nearly all of our needs through independent fundraising during the 2011-12 season, but we need your help to meet our final funding goals!

So, what do we still need? Piano transport, one train ticket, and printing costs are all that stand between us and a weekend of mind-blowing, brain-shattering music! If you are interested in supporting the burgeoning new music scene in Madison, if you know someone who's playing on the festival or a composer who's being featured, or if you just love music, consider making a contribution to this yearly event. Any amount will help bring brand-spakin'-new art to the Midwest.
