Funding Successful
This project successfully raised its funding goal on January 10.
Pledge $10 or more Pledge $10 or more
A "Periodic Table of Awesome" postcard and our most sincere and profound gratitude. And, oh yah - if you're local, 2 fresh fruit pops of your choice!
Pledge $25 or more Pledge $25 or more
A "Periodic Table of Awesome" postcard plus a Pop Geekery fridge magnet of your choice (see choices to your left). Local? You also get 4 fresh fruit pops for you and your crew.
Pledge $100 or more Pledge $100 or more
All of the above, plus a reusable "Periodic Table of Awesome" farmers' market tote bag. Local? We'll fill 'er up with 12 pops of your choice!
Pledge $250 or more Pledge $250 or more
Hey, big spender! We'll send you all of the above AND a retro Pop Geekery lunch box (choose your design). Because all the cool kids bring their pb&j to work with them. Or, use it to store your action figures. Plus, just because you're sweet as honey, some a super cute felt pop bling (choose pin or barrettes).
Pledge $850 or more Pledge $850 or more
All of the awesomeness above, plus something available only at this level: Pick your favorite movie scene of all time. We'll dress up our Pop Geekery actors and create a super-special movie just for you. Also, this is our COMMUNITY SUPPORTED POPSICLE (CSP) level - local folks, get a half-dozen seasonal pops a week for our summer season (20 weeks) for pickup at the Mountain View Farmers' Market.
Pledge $1,500 or more Pledge $1,500 or more
Helloooo, rainmaker! In one fell swoop, you’re making our dreams come true. We'll give you all the cool swag above, plus we are so NAMING A POP in your honor. We'll make a special addition to our pop pantheon, named by you, or after you (depending on how you roll). Also, an ORIGINAL painting of the Periodic Table of Awesome, measuring 9 x 12 by our uber-talented Lilia Schwartz. And oh yeah, if you're around here, we’re so down for bringing our cart over and catering your next hootenanny, hoedown, or shindig. Pop Party at your place!!!

Connected as Liz Snyder (266 friends)
Farm-starter, food activist, popsicle maven!
In 2007, I founded Full Circle Farm (www.fullcirclesunnyvale.org), an 11-acre organic, educational farm on public school land. I've also done some other cool stuff since then, like helping start a 150-member CSA for low-income families and opening an all-outdoor nature awareness school. I have a fancy-pants degree from Oxford University, but I got my real smarts from my hippy parents and some radically awesome mentors at San Jose State.
A few things I love: my daughter, my family, Star Trek, small sustainable farms, redwood trees, baking pies, growing food, and my awesomely geeky hometown.
I'm sooooo (underline that) happy for you guys : ) I hope this spreads down south to San Diego some day in the future (franchise??). I'm just now getting to the point where I have to explain how bad the pops that are being sold on the carts are compared to the ones we make at home and it isn't fun (or well received...)
Congrats!!
Congrats! I'm so excited for you, and for us!
Hey, Liz and Co---
We at The FOOD Museum salute you--fantastic project, presented imaginatively. Having come across you, we wonder if you might be interested in being a guest contributor to our new, revised TFM website. We clearly share common interests. TFM is an offshoot of The Potato Museum, a 501c3.....more to tell! Cheers, Meredith Hughes

Hi Sharon, yes, you'll get a coupon! We'll have a survey, and you will be able to specify a different mailing address for the coupon! :-)
Will I get a coupon? I'm on the East coast and want to give the pops to my little great-niece. Good luck, love the idea.
Yay! Funded! :)
What a wonderful project! We would love to be able to make "crap-free" popsicles for our nephew when he gets older. If you ever decide to sell a book of recipes, especially for non-local supporters, please let us know. Best of luck on Little Bee Pops and thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you all!!!
Carolyn, our focus at first will be on downtown & surrounding... with our primary parks being Eagle and Mercy-Bush, and the soon-to-be Mariposa park down the street from us. With the bike, we can probably get Cuesta in regular rotation. For Sylvan and more far-flung locations, we'll be looking to come to special summer events like movie nights, etc. The bikes we're looking at range from $1000 (single-speed, from Brazil) to $2100 (7-speed, made in Portland!).
Juan Williams for "The help1one" Hawaii...
BTW... HAPPY BIRTHDAY HELEN! :)
Liz, how much cushion do you need for a second cycle? Will you primarily service Cuesta or will those if as at Sylvan see you too? Here is to hoping you have a cool jingle Nadia cab hear frim far away and get excited about! Congrats and thanks for taking the initiative!
I'm just a teeny backer who's thrilled you've reached your goal! I love your creativity, tenacity and integrity besides your actual product! Best of luck to you!
Congratulations, Liz, Lilia, and Helen--now the REALLY hard part begins! I'll look forward to having a Little Bee Pop this summer.
Cheers,
Teresa O'

What a great idea. Little Bee is adorable and a "natural" like what you're trying to kickstart. I so hope you reach the goal. Let me know when you're ready to launch in St. Louis :)
What an awesome video!
Little Bee screaming ice cream made me laugh so much. What a cute kid!
I'm a chef and I am 100% with your philosophy on healthy, fresh, and safe ingredients. Plus that growing up should be AWESOME for kids. I wish you the very best with your project.
Hey!
I used to be Mr. Mac's helper and thought that adorable kid looked familiar! This project is so cool! I'm gonna advertise to all my friends! Good luck and congrats on making the kickstarter news letter!
"Certified crap-free??" I'm all over it. Thank you for doing your share to make our food better for our families. My allergy-ridden son will love you for it. P.S. We own a skateboard shop, and I'd love to have a supply of these in our shop for hungry skaters! Please email me when you are ready to distribute :) lessons@ohanaboardshop.com
We are Sylvan Park Patrons; my daughter is 5 and has NEVER been allowed to get something from the Ice Cream truck. She understands why, but still cries when she hears the beckoning tune 'why do they only sell chemicals?'
We buy and make natural pops, but I know it isn't the same kind of TREAT!
All the best to you, hope this works out and feel free to let me know if/how I can help.
All the success -- a project worth supporting!
What a fabulous idea! I so enjoyed your video, and am completely inspired by your vision and your creativity. I'll be cheering you on and holding the vision of your screaming success. Thanks for being you!
Such a great idea! Wishing you all the best:-)
Inspiringly wonderful! Thanks for birthing the idea and bringing it to us! We are cheering for you and your crew!
Cute idea! :D hope you could implement the idea, if the fund cannot reach the target :) goodluck Liz!
