Customs by Kait: Hand Painted Sunglasses

Tired of solid colors or the typical Tye-dyed sunglasses?  Well I would like to remedy that.  For a few months now I have dreamed of painting custom sunglasses frames and sharing them with the world.  I have made my own crazy sunglasses before, but I've always wanted to see other people wearing something I painted and designed myself.  Unfortunately, paying for such an endeavor is a little out of my reach.

My Budget Breakdown:

My target budget is $300 which accounts for the cost of purchasing sunglasses, shipping the sunglasses to me, buying all the paint and materials I need, and then shipping the finished product out again if necessary.
The sunglasses themselves average between $15-$20 per dozen, and I'll need a few of those.
Paint can cost between $2-$5 a tube depending upon what you get and the markers I'm looking at average around $15 a pack.
Then there's shipping, which can add up.

Rewards:

I have offered my backers as many rewards I can spare.  Unfortunately, I can't give away a free pair of sunglasses to every single person who donates, but I really wish that I could.  Hopefully the little I have to offer you guys is enough.  This is a small project after all and there's only so much I can do.

Note:

I am not looking to make and give away the glasses to backers but to sell them in my personal shop on etsy.
