Heading to Chiang Mai Thailand to make art.
Justin Phillips is an artist that works and resides in the Philadelphia region USA.
I am very excited to announce that I will be heading to Thailand to create art during the month of August 2012.
My intention is to create a body of work which will speak to my experience in Chiang Mai. I look forward to experiencing a new sense of energy and enviroment and seeing how these influences make their way into my aesthetic sensibilities and my art work.
Chiang Mai is located in northern Thailand in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. It is considered to be a hub for creativity and innovative ideas and thought. Chiang Mai has attracted artists, writers and philosophers to pursue inspiration for generations. I am happy to have this once in a lifetime opportunity.
