Tomorrow is the half way point and we have reached half of the fundraising goal.
So far so good. They tell me the last few days are often busiest with a kickstarter project. We'll see.
Already I feel this little experiment is a success. I had hoped that it would appeal to both friends/neighbors, and distant art fans. Well, a third of the backers are reliable friends, a third more distant acquaintances and a third random strangers. This has proved the theory that people will support random art projects even if otherwise unconnected. What a great feeling.
For this odd project to make it to the finish line, it will need to reach far and wide. Please share this (facebook, email, twitter etc.) with anyone who you believe may be interested.
What does everyone think of this (Machine pictured) as a future stone project? How about a place to build it?
