About this project
While the 1MileClock project was very succesfully funded on Kickstarter, an expert team of Pyros would like to add the element of FIRE and a new technology called Pixel Lighting to the ongoing project. Three of the Clocks Towers" (3-6-9 oclock) would have installed a Fire Cannon on the top spire. The fire would emit a huge fireball and "BOOM" randomly thru out the night via remote control.
The "Pixel Lighting" would be installed similar to a Christmas string of INCREDIBLE & totally MIND- BLOWING effects around each of the towers, lighting up the face and artwork installed on each tower. "Pixels Lights" (www.coolneon.com) are cutting edge technology in that each LED light will emit virtually ANY color in the rainbow independently of each other. The entire strand will "morph" and "flow back and forth" in a myriad of different patterns, colors, hues and special effects. They Chase, Flash, Dim, Twinkle and dozens of other "clock custom" pre-programmed effects.
In order to add these incredible works of new art to the 1MileClock, our new "Pyro Team" needs to raise the neccessary funds to accomplish it. A Total of $3457 is needed to fund the Fire and Lighting of the 1MILEclock Project at Burning Man.

Since we are getting close to Burning Man (Aug 29th), rewards will be shipped immediately after the event, on or about Sept. 15th 2011. We want you to receive your rewards as soon as possible!

NO - We are only printing White heavy weight t-shirts in Large and XL only. Other sizes would be very difficult to manage, predict size quantities needed etc.

No, the logistics of delivering rewards on the playa would be difficult at best. All rewards will be shipped possibly before, but probably after the event.

Jim Bowers is a multi-media artist focusing on sculpture, large scale public art and photography. His work has appeared in gallerys, magazines and newspapers around the world. Since 1997 Bowers has created unique art for the annual Burning Man festival in the Nevada Desert.
