Hello to you all. I am so happy to share with you that after many months of finalizing the mixing and mastering of the album---I am almost ready to release it! This past fall I worked hard to raise an additional $5,000 I realized was necessary in order to have the highest quality, most authentic, and carefully crafted album I've ever produced. With your contributions and mine combined this album has had the chance to take flight.I can't wait to share it with you all!

Currently, the album is in it's last two months of mixing, mastering and design. I'm working with professionals in Connecticut, Los Angeles, and here in Portland Maine on these finishing touches. I have a tour in the works down the east coast and back in March as well as a big c.d. release at One Longfellow (Portland Maine's premier listening music venue) set for March 23rd.

I will also be putting together the lyric books, printing photos, and getting all of your goodies together. If you are a supporter who chose to turn a poem into a song, please be in touch with your poetry and let's make some magic happen. If you are a supporter who elected to have me record and cover a special song---please be in touch with your song choice! If you are a donor who funded a house concert---I will be in touch with you this month about scheduling your house concert!  :)

Hello to all of you wonderful friends and supporters! I just wanted to give you an update on the album-making process. In mid May I headed down to Signature Sounds Studios in Pomfret Connecticut with a team of amazing musicians, and my producer/cellist Mai Bloomfield. With Mark Thayer engineering the project we laid down 14 of the best tracks I have recorded to date with a host of talented musicians from Mandolin, to Banjo, to triple harmonies and Cello. It sounds fantastic! I'm so proud of these tracks and so ready to share them with you.

You might be asking, then what's the hold up? Well, the hold up is that I underestimated the time I would need in the studio to achieve all that we did with the budget all of YOU were so generous to donate. I still need 3.5 days in the studio to complete the mixing/editing and mastering process of the c.d....which will mean I am still a minimum of $4,000 short. The good news is I am hard at work raising that money myself....the challenge is getting this c.d. into your hands as soon as possible!

This update is to thank you again for your generous donations and to say that I am doing my best to finish this project in a timely manner. Your support has made this entire project possible...it has just expanded (like the construction of a fabulous house if you will)

I appreciate your patience, and love and I will let you know as soon as I've finished raising the necessary funds. I of course am always happy to take any pre-orders of the new c.d. for donation for folks you know of that might be interested in a pre-order if the new album. If there are potential donors or philanthropists that you would personally or professionally recommend I am exploring every opportunity!

With just over 1 week to go I've met my $8,000 goal! This is incredible! Thank you to all of you who have given so very generously and become a part of this album. I cannot wait to get into the studio on May 16th to start laying down the tracks....you will not be dissapointed. :)

With a little more than 1 week left, I am hoping to get as close to $10,000 as possible! That will cover the costs of making the c.d. itself (the cute little jackets and design) once the recording and mixing and mastering is all done....please continue to help me spread the word to anyone who may have not yet donated and would be excited to pre-order a c.d. or two.

Hello Hello Hello! I've just finished this second and last video as part of my kickstarter fundraising goal.  The good news is that I am SO CLOSE to reaching my $8,000 goal. To all of you who have donated and support this project, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I am so very appreciative.

This second video introduces some of the musicians on the album....please share it widely, and encourage any friends you know that would like to support this project to do so as soon as possible. Again, I need to raise the FULL amount by April 30th or I don't receive ANY of your generous contributions. The pressure is on :)
