We 'Honyock's recorded a six song EP titled "Asea" earlier this year. We need funds to help these songs get a proper release.
Us Honyocks are very pleased for you being interested in becoming a part of releasing our new EP "Asea". We made this record this past spring at Alley Ave. studio with engineer Ira Joseph Skinner in the heart of midtown Sacramento. The record is pretty much a live account of what we have been working on for the past year and a half prior to hitting the studio and features songs that we have fleshed out playing show after show in the local venues here in Sacramento as well as a completely unheard tune called "Blue Eyed Coyote". As any band that has been playing for a little while we want to branch out to our neighbors through releasing our music and through hitting that old dusty trail and touring this August.
What you will be supporting is the release of this 6 track record digitally as well as a limited 10" vinyl and other physical forms. We wanted to drain the coffers before asking for fan support and drain them we did. So to help get this record heard we are asking for any type of assistance you can afford. We live in the same economy you do, so there is no shame in even $1 donations.
The title "Asea" hearkens back to old english and an explorative view of the unknown world. So help us explore. We have much uncharted territory in our new musical careers. Set sail on this voyage to find a Red X or possibly just get straight to the Point.
