Dear Backers,

We are in the home stretch of shipping out orders, with the final batch of boxes going out today and tomorrow. Please allow a week for the package to arrive, especially for international shipments. If you have not received it within a week or so from the date of this update, please e-mail us at info@gothamsauceco.com, and we will be happy to track the order.

Our international backers should have received an e-mail requesting some more information. If you have not e-mailed us back, please do so, as we need the info to fulfill your order. If you have done so, your package is en route!

Thank you for all of your support and patience throughout this process! We truly could not have done it without you! The reality of a start-up project like ours is that it comes with many ups and downs, and we certainly made our mistakes along the way. We will use what we have learned from this Kickstarter project in order to continue to improve and grow Gotham Sauce Co. In the end, we think we created a fantastic product that we are extremely proud of!

Exciting news! We are now in possession of literally a ton of Top Secret Burger Sauce and shipping has commenced.  It has been a long weekend of packing boxes and printing labels, but fear not! Sauce will arrive soon.  We completed as much shipping as we possibly could over the weekend, but even with our army of free laborers, we still have packages to ship.  We will be shipping this week and next weekend so hopefully every back receives their reward sometime next week.

Dear Backers,

We are happy to announce a tentative shipping date of February 16th.  We were finally able to hold a finished sample in our hands (check it out!) and nothing could make us happier.  We are truly in the final stretch and have a production date scheduled!

No one feels worse than we do for missing our original expected delivery date of December 2012.  Launching Gotham Sauce Co. and getting Top Secret Burger Sauce off the ground has been an extremely exciting and rewarding process, but oftentimes a frustrating and challenging one as well.  This product is our passion and we wanted to ensure that we deliver the best product possible, even if that means delaying shipping.  The suppliers we chose are top-quality, which means that they will help us produce the best product possible, but also that our start-up oftentimes takes a back seat to their much larger accounts.  Turnaround times are quoted in weeks and months rather than days.  That, coupled with some unanticipated roadblocks, has forced us to push back our delivery date by two months.  Again, we are truly sorry.

That being said, we are extremely proud of the product we turned out and hope you all love it.  This is jut the beginning of something great and all of you have helped create this!

We are in the final stretch!  Labels are expected in the next few days and production should be completed in the coming weeks, barring any setbacks.  As soon as we get the bottles, we will send out all rewards.  We truly appreciate everyone's support, feedback and patience in this process!  We are just a few weeks away from delivery.  Let us know what you think of our labels!
