Hello kickstarter community!

Michelle Maxwell here and I helped produce Hardcore Hearts with Danny Herb (the guy in the video above) and we are so excited about finishing out our first feature film. Exciting! The footage and story we have stored on our hard drive is amazing and we are dying to get this puppy out of storage and finished. We need some assistance to complete the final edit, post sound work and film festival submissions. This has been a passion project from day one. Every single person working with us (cast, crew, friends, family members, etc) have been so dedicated, asking for nothing in return, but that we get this story out there. Make this little dream of ours a reality.

Well I'm sure your wondering what the story is all about that has pumped so many people about Hardcore Hearts.

In short, its about a group of twenty something adults hitting that pivotal point of their lives when you are trying to differentiate what you believe and what you have been taught to believe by your parents and community. They are going through this discovery together. The five main characters, Luke, Mark, Jayce, Corey and Sam, are in a hardcore music band together called Hand of Blood. I was particularly interested in the project because there are not many movies out there depicting the hardcore rock scene and as a lover of the style for many years I wouldn't dare pass up the opportunity to blend my two loves, movies and music. I digress. The plot touches on relationships, religion, homosexuality, acceptance and figuring out how to make sense of this crazy world we live in. The film is ultimately about love and figuring out where your belief lies for yourself.

Phenomenal acting, inspiring music and a genuine story all make Hardcore Hearts a film I am proud to stand behind. I'm hoping it is also a film you will join me in standing behind.
