Some anarchists and anti-authoritarians in Tucson are starting a monthly newspaper called Javelina Press. The newspaper will focus on original journalism from an anarchist perspective, covering local and statewide events. Our collective of volunteers is a pool of brilliant and talented individuals with real-world experience in writing, research, print layout, and newspaper management.

We want our newspaper to be well-printed, looking fresh, and always free to the reader. To this end, we are raising money to cover printing costs. Our fundraising goal should cover us for three or four months of issues, at an estimated circulation of 200-300 copies per month. Raising this money will give us time to consolidate local fundraising efforts to carry us through the rest of the year.

Our first issue hit the street on February 1st. Help us reach the goal so that we have loot to print the second issue in time for March 1st! Thanks for your support, and see you in the streets.
