The Raven Mad Theater Company is cooking up an EXTRA batty, nutty, screwy, and wacky adaptation of Roald Dahl's most beloved stories!
Already nominated by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children for Zaniest Play 2012, "DAHL" will be sure to jolt you, excite you, please you, and explode your senses. On August 10th and 11th, come to Green Street Studio in Cambridge, MA to see what happens when a grown-up Matilda is put in Detention. Follow M and Will as they attempt to break out of a corrupt detention system run by a power-crazed headmaster and patrolled by ghastly witches. Come for the tasty treats, tragedy, comedy, hideous and beautiful sights, and at least one grand karaoke number.
Raven Mad Theater Company began performing original works in the Boston Area in 2009. The mission we have maintained to this very day is to present theater that is free, accessible, and relevant to our communities. This is where we need your help! In order to stage DAHL without charging an entrance fee, we need to reach out to our friends and allies. The money will be used to cover the cost of space rental and props, and your donations will make a world of a difference.
